Current Exhibit Information and reminders for March 10th meeting

Hope everyone has been enjoying the snow we’ve been getting and getting some snow dyeing done!   I have noticed some of the results on FB, they look GREAT!!

Reminder: March 1 – April 9th 2018 “Passages will be exhibiting at Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha NE. 100 Bancroft Street, Omaha NE.

Our Nebraska member, Chris Taylor is having a show at the Unitarian church, 6300 A Street, Lincoln, NE. in March. Hours: Tuesday-Friday 9-3pm, Sunday 9-1 pm. Website:

“Textural Colors” by Chris Taylor, fiber artist and quilter, is a new collection focusing on interrelationships between color and texture. It differs from earlier work by emphasizing characteristics of fiber, glass, metal, and the uniqueness of her own hand-dyed fabric. Yet, it reflects earlier qualities: her ongoing passion for being involved in the creative process and encouragement by Robert Hillestad, a long time mentor, fellow artist, and friend.

Be sure to stop in and/or tell a friend about both shows!

Reminder: If you haven’t made a 12×12 for the SAQA Auction, we will be collecting them at our March 10th at the International Quilt Study Center Museum, 10-12pm.

See you in March

Cynthia and Rhonda
