Art Quilts featured in Omaha World Herald

This year the group, FiberWorks, made art quilts to help celebrate the National Park System’s 100th anniversary, which is in 2016.  Six members of this group belong to SAQA, Cynthia Levis, Marilyn Rembolrt, Dorothy Heidemann-Nelson, Pat Stava, Jo Drueke, and Peg Pennell.

On the FRONT PAGE of the Omaha World Herald today, November 30th, there is a really nice article with photos of all 13 quilts.  The article continues inside. We are very excited to have art quilts and SAQA members featured so prominently!  There are articles on the World Herald’s website, with additional photos.  (links below)
